Okay... maybe I was in the South a little too long but it strikes me as SO funny to see "Moose Crossing". Is this a Montana thing? Are the moose really that smart that the state can put up signs warning you that there will be a moose crossing in a couple hundred feet... and have an area that it marked as the crossing area???? Manda had to jump out of the car and get a picture of the moose crossing in the middle of nowhere, Montana.
Right before coming across the moose crosswalk, Manda had mentioned how beautiful it was there and asked what people do for a living there. Then we came across a sign saying that there were several white road markers that indicated that there was a fatality. Her next comment of course was "Oh, I get it. That's what people do here for work. Someone has to put up all the white road markers." And now we can add to that all the moose research to figure out where to put the moose crosswalks and signs. Or maybe the moose crossing and the white road markers all go together? Gotta love Montana!

Ummm.. Wow. Moose Crossing I think says it all for where you were at there. Crazy to think that they know where the Moose crosses the road. Here in Idaho I have seen cattle crossing in like 500 ft. but I have never seen cattle anywhere around. Did you also know that when you come to a stop sign and you meet a cow there the cow has the right away you have to wait for it to go before you can (the reason I know this is because I failed my drivers test to get my good ol Idaho liscnese)
I'd have thought the moose crossing was funny too...and have taken a picture too :) you're not weird!! haha
