Since we have moved here Emma has been talking about the antique carousel in Spokane and how badly she wants to ride it. Unfortunately, when we had our 'girl party' in Spokane it was on the agenda to go there and when we arrived it was closed for the season! There have been few weeks since then that Emmie has reminded us of that and asked if it is open. Finally, the day arrived that we headed to Spokane for a day in the park (and a quick stop at the airport), some good shopping, amazing scenery and a very long waited for, ride on the carousel!!!

I'm so glad she got her afternoon in Spokane! We were sad everything was closed by the time we got there on Wednesday, now we owe Elyse a day up there.
