I used to feel a little insecure because Rick was so much older than me. But with time I learned to feel grateful for his "wisdom and experience". Other times I am just plain grateful that there aren't as many candles on my birthday cake.... 44, can you believe it? Where has the time gone? It just doesn't seem like it was that long ago that we were young kids in love. Okay, Okay... I know what those of you who knew us then are thinking- I was the one who was a young kid. But in my defense, he is the one who still acts like it! (which keeps us young :P)
I remember shortly after we were married and I was working at a bank full time as Rick was finishing up college and he came into the bank wearing my Letterman's jacket which had "Class of 88" on it. After he left, a girl that I worked with asked what the age difference was between us and I told her 5 years. She looked at me and said " I knew you were older than him but I didn't realize that you were that much older". What can I say, I have always been the old hag in this relationship! Thanks honey bunny for keeping us so young! Love ya bunches.

Happy Birthday Rick! You should really tell your wife to stop calling you honey bunny or she is always going to seem like the older one!
Happy B-day Rick. Nice tractor, did you trade your guitar in or what? We'll see you in a few months :)
