Fall has been crazy. There is so much going on with the kids new school program (that I hate... did I mention that before?), so much gardening, picking and canning. We can hardly wait for winter to arrive! I might have to go back and remind myself of that when we are shoveling our way out of the drive way again. We did manage to find some time to go to WSU Orchard and pick some apples (because we didn't do nearly enough apple picking at home, HA!). We picked the last day, that night they got a freeze and shut down the orchard for the rest of the year. It's so sad... so many beautiful apples lost!
