This semester has been a lot of fun with our history class. The younger kids and I have a few friends over each week and are covering the Revolutionary War time period. I just love history and have such a passion for the very important lessons that are to be learned in that time period. Somehow, I didn't inherit this passion in my school years but sure have caught on fire since then. The older kids have been taking a class doing a lot more in depth study of the Constitution. We have such an amazing document that has richly blessed our nation in the Constitution. It has been great watching Ben and Manda open their eyes and hearts to this BLESSED document that so many sacrifices have been made in order to bring it to us. It is my prayer as a mother and a citizen that they will always do all in their power to protect these freedoms.
