Yep, for those of you who really know me you know that I probably should be checked into rehab. I admit, I am a junkie! That is a political junkie. Few things in life get me stirred up more than a political conversation. Not because I enjoy confrontation, actually I don't. I just love this country and the principals that it was founded on! It is because I believe in a principal based government that I decided I can no longer support the Democratic or Republican party. I am supporting principals!!
The kids and I decided to exercise our freedom and let our voices be heard. We joined in the Tax Day Tea Party 2009. We are part of what the "main stream media" is classifying as "the mad right". I can't stand the whole classification thing... I am an AMERICAN. I am in favor of upholding the Constitution of the United States. If that makes me an extremist, it is a sad statement on the state of this country. I am just a citizen that is trying to keep my eyes open and believes that the Constitution is an inspired document and that our founding fathers paid dearly and sacrificed greatly for something that they felt would save generations to come. This document was an influence other countries for 100's of years to spread freedom and give power to the people. God bless this country and it's principals that it was built upon! Extremist perhaps, but I believe it is our duty to protect it.

I am not much into politics for reasons of my own, but there are a few things that get to me...but I think what you said says it right. Getting back to the basics is usually the way to go :)
