So many memories, from riding our bikes to Grandma's to begging for change so we could walk to "Quick Pick" to buy candy. Many fun filled Friday nights going to the old movie theatre and if we were really lucky, buying a huge sucker and dipping it in our "pop". Millions of trips to play at the park- even though my brother and my cousins would try to convince me that a duplex next to the park was haunted- filled the summer days. Seeing the old school... in the process of being torn down and the familiar land marks that are now memories of the good days in childhood.

Hey Dee!! It's Melissa Zavala-- found your blog via Dedra. :) I had to laugh because I just found out that Deitmar was friends with my husbands best friends Bill Badger & you probably know Michelle too. :) What a small, small world!!!
