A couple of weeks before the wedding we asked Laura if she would mind coming home and spending one last week with the family before she was married. She was happy to accept and said that while she is very much looking forward to being sealed to Ben, she was homesick and could use a trip home. Rick and I decided to make a weekend of it and have a date night/weekend while we were heading to McCall. We stayed in the Holland's Cabin with Laura and spent the next day driving in the mountains and fishing with Ben and Laura. It was great fun, but I must admit that even I felt a little guilty about taking Laura away when Ben sat in the driveway waving good-bye with that big sad face. I am thankful for his understanding heart and encouraging her to spend some time with her family and he would look forward to her return.
We stopped and admired and played in the river on the ride home. I giggled at watching Rick and Laura explore the river, just like they would do when she was little. Great minds think alike, and in that sense those two are two peas in a pod. Explore, explore, explore. It was a great week and we loved having our Norny Copcorn home one more time before her name changed forever!

Hey good idea!! I must file this one away for future reference! I'm glad you guys had time before the wedding! :)
No way! We love McCall. We go skiing and snowboarding up there every winter around March. We always stay at a cabin with my wife's family. We should hang out sometime! :)
