One of Rick's assignments as a High Councilmen was to organize a Pioneer Day Celebration. It was fun to see the kids dressed up and a great opportunity to help our children understand the sacrifices that our ancestors had made for us. Rick and Ben cooked sausage for 6 hours straight before the activity began and then went on to cook pancakes too! It was a great activity and I am thankful that our family could participate. We look forward to next year and the activity growing and growing!
