Last night Manda had her first and hopefully only wreck. Thankfully, what could of been really bad was fairly minor damage for us while the other vehicle involved was most likely totaled. Amazingly enough, Rick happened to drive up on it as he was coming home from a late night Walmart trip with our friend Darren. Manda was turning onto a main road and somebody shot out of a store parking lot trying to hurry and make a green light and smacked right into Manda as she was turning. The police officer didn't give Manda a citation although she was in the other drivers lane as she was already in the process of turning because the other driver came out of the parking lot so quickly and straight into the intersection. He is leaving it to the insurance to settle the dispute. Both parties involved have the same insurance agency in town which is making everything even more complicated but regardless we are thankful that nobody was injured. We are also thankful for the lift kit which saved us from any major damage, a new bumper is probably in the future but at least we are in WAY better shape than the other vehicle involved. Most of all we are thankful that in reality, it was a minor accident and that late night call could of been so much worse.

Manda was a real trooper about it. I would have been way more shaken up about the whole thing.

I am glad she is ok. Hopefully everything will get worked out with your insurance companies.
