The other night it was dark and I started looking around and realized that Emma wasn't in the house. I had the thought to go outside and look for her but couldn't imagine that she would go out there since she won't even go upstairs and brush her teeth without an escort when it's dark. But following my feelings I promptly went outside and called for her and hear her yell back, "I'm over here!". I found her out in the horse pasture with the grass trimmer (push mower without a motor). She has been so excited about this idea that she came up with to make a maze out in the tall grass in the pasture that she decided to get back to work on it while the rest of us were in the house at night time.
I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her out there in a dress, in the dark, pushing the grass trimmer through the tall grass- I had to take a picture. Her other obsessions at this time include riding her bike at any and all times of the day and night and checking on "her" garden. The only thing she really cares about is the potatoes that she planted and her special pepper plant given to her (she prays for that plant and the person that gave it to her regularly) that she loves more than life itself. Hmmm... I think next time she throws a fit about not going upstairs in the dark, it isn't going to work!
