LOUD!!! That is my description of the Tim McGraw concert. Incredible, energetic and awesome, as well. Rick took the girls to Rascal Flatts so we decided it was my turn to go with Manda to Tim McGraw. It opened with Love and Theft, then Lady Antebellum who was fantastic and then Tim Mcgraw. Wow.. It got progressively louder in the Arena, by the time Tim was on there were points that when I whistled I could not hear myself whistle. Keep in mind that my whistle is also my "child-call" which can be heard from miles away by the trained ear (my children). I've worked on it for years, it is plenty loud!
It was such a great energetic concert and it was so much fun to share it with the birthday girl. She is pretty homesick for Texas but is trying to make the best of it. Her requests were pretty small, a little country music and some BBQ to satisfy her craving for home. I sure am thankful for such a sweet girl in our family who is growing up to be an amazing woman. We sure have been blessed in the daughter department X's 3! Didn't do too bad in the son area either! I am so thankful for the family that we have. As far as the concert goes, I loved it but I can't believe that my ears were ringing for several hours afterwards.
