We keep trying to convince Emma that the real name is a bicycle but she insists on calling it a "two-wheeler". Makes sense I guess, since it had 4 wheels with the training wheels on it and now it has two. =) Rick and I ran some errands one day and told the boys to work in the garden while we were gone. Emma was being herself- which some people, who shall remain nameless, claim is annoying at times. So her brothers came up with the idea to teach her to ride a bike without training wheels. Perhaps it wasn't that she was annoying, maybe teaching her was more exciting than working in the garden? None the less, when we got home the boys had the garden work pretty much done and Emma was riding Sam's bike like crazy all over the yard. She has no fear at all and that very same day was going up and down the hill in our yard. The only problem is that she now wants to keep Sam's bike. I took her training wheels off of her pretty pink bike with the basket on it and it still isn't as fun or cool to ride as her big brother's bike. Sam does not share the same excitement but has been very kind about sharing.
