Finally... We can mention Laura's SECRET Christmas present! On Christmas morning Laura found plane tickets in her stocking for a round trip ticket to SLC. It was a surprise trip to go spend the weekend with some of her best friends-the Hoyt's. It was Travis' surprise birthday present as well, so she had to hold it in for a month without letting it slip out to Travis. :P It was great fun planning the trip and sneaking around trying to keep it from Travis. Of course, Jackie was my partner in crime- it was hard work keeping it from the two of them but well worth the effort! I wish we could have seen Travis as he turned around in baggage claim to see Laura waiting for him. They enjoyed a fun filled weekend of fine dining, meeting Rose family members, BYU tours and last but not least an amazing BYU basketball game(thanks to an excellent basketball coach and team)! She came home with lots of precious memories and few special gifts! :)
