As you can see we had snow up to our eyeballs... quite seriously! Snow was so exciting at first. It has lost some of its charm after shoveling our way out of the driveway day after day. Of course, we didn't own any tire chains for our cars and the stores all ran out locally. So being the brilliant people that we are we jumped on the internet and ordered some. Aren't we clever? Well, we thought so until getting an email several days later saying "we're sorry, we can't get your shipment to you due to severe weather". lol.
We have had record breaking snow already this year (yes, that is our garage behind the mound of snow!). Followed by a nice warming trend of a very cozy 45 degrees and lots of rain. Sounds good, eh? The rain has started washing the "record-breaking" snow away, now causing lovely flooding. Haven't we had our fill of extreme weather yet? Hurricane Ike, record snow and flooding.... I guess when it rains it pours! :)

Atleast when it floods in Texas we are warm.
And your trying to convince us to move there? I loved putting on my flip-flops today and walking outside. It is 77 degrees. Nothing gets better than this.
