This weekend we explored an area 40 miles north of us. We found a place called Moose Lodge that was ran as a downhill ski park for 70 years but closed their slopes recently due to the inconsistent snow fall. It is still quite a charming place, ran by a couple who purchased it to keep them active in their retirement. It is rented out for seminars and private parties now, but is a great place to go tubing. It was a beautiful area with lots of opportunity for great camera shots, including the panoramic shot of the mountains that is at the top of our blog. We love to explore our new area around us!
